Ingredients (6-8 servings)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a double-boiler, melt together butter and chocolate.
Mix in sugar.
Allow to cool before stirring in eggs one at a time.
Mix sugar and flour and add to mixture.
Bake in oven for 22 minutes.
Remove from pan and let sit before cutting into cubes.
Place cherries or other fruit in decorative bowls and top with cake.
Drizzle with cherry liqueur.
Top with Chantilly cream or chocolate sauce, if desired.
